I recently viewed the movie called Georgia rule where Lindsay lohan is abusive by her stepfather. During the course of the movie there were times where Lindsay lohan may be lying just to get revenge on him for sending her to live with her grandmother.

After seeing this movie I felt a chill down my back and realized this could happen to me if my step daughter didn’t get her way and knowing how she is when she doesn’t get her ways.

A couple days later while im cooking dinner my stepdaughter revealed that she as a crush on a fellow nine year old. I began to tease her and saying that I was going to tell her mother, she turns to me and says " john if you say anything about my secret I will tell mommy I saw you kissing another girl" I replied to her in shock "if you tell your mother she would leave me would you want that to happen". In her next words she uttered I will admit I have never been put into back in my place by a child "why would I care what happens to you".

So what should I man do when I Childs words can destroy everything I loves, when already an attempt in getting her way was in the form of accusing me of hitting her. And is it fair to cater to the Childs needs in constant fear because of what words she might speak.
