Wishing You Happy Father's Day

While it may still be one of best kept secret for the rest of the world, your family knows all too well that you have not spared a drop of your energy trying to be a great Father to your kids.

Through out this year, you [yes, we are talking about you Mr. StepDad :) ] have driven yourself by continually pushing the envelope -doing your very best. Trying to strike a delicate but often difficult balance between doing things that your kids like/enjoy (i.e. doing things that can possibly earn you the title of The Coolest Dad in the Whole World) and putting your foot down (knowing too well doing so may possibly earn your photo a prominent/central placement on your kids' dart board!) while looking out for your stepchildren's best interest.

You have done your part, and you continue to do so in spite of all the challenges. Your dedication, commitment, and boundless love for your children need no formal validation from anyone. You know it deep down in your heart better than anyone else possibly can. This is a day for looking back, celebrating every little bump that you have overcome along the way, and cherish every little smile (no matter how subtle) you have been able to plant on your stepchildren's faces. Sure, raising children -the biological variety, adoptive, or stepchildren -can be tough and it certainly is not like a casual walk in the park; but if you take time to cherish every moment along the way, that alone makes it is all well worth it.
